CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury Passes Away at 72

Agartala: Sept 12: CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury passed away at the age of 72. He was admitted to Delhi AIIMS in critical condition. On September 10, Yechury, a prominent leftist leader, was placed on respiratory support at the hospital. He had been admitted on August 19 with lung problems and was diagnosed with a pneumonia infection in his lungs.
