Agartala June 15: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent 500 kg of mangoes to the Chief Minister of Tripura and once again showed good brotherhood between the two countries on Thursday. Like every year, Prime Minister has sent delicious mangoes as a seasonal gift. A cartoon loaded with mangoes arrived at Agartala through Akhaura border at noon that day.

Agartala-based Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad, First Secretary Embassy Rezaul Haque Chowdhury, First Secretary Al Amin and other officials of the mission were present at Akhaura border. Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad said Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent 500 kg of delicious mangoes to the chief minister of Tripura state. They collected these mangoes from the border. At the next stage, the Prime Minister will hand it over to the Chief Minister on behalf of Sheikh Hasina. He also said that by sending mangoes as a gift, India is reminding Bangladesh and the deep relationship between Bangladesh and Tripura.
