Agartala: Jan 02: On January 5, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold an election rally at noon from the stadium located in Damdama, adjacent to Sabroom Michael Madhusudan Dutta College, along the Sabroom-Agartala National Highway under the Sabroom Assembly Constituency of South Tripura. He will also start the public trust rath yatra from Sabroom.State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the ground adjacent to Sabroom’s college on Monday to review the preparations for the arrival of the Home Minister. He landed at the Sabroom helipad on Monday and went to the Sabroom sub-district hospital. He examined the various services of the hospital there. Then from there he checked the preparations of the ground where the meeting will be held adjacent to the college. The Chief Minister said that the Union Home Minister is visiting the state on January 5. Jan Biswas Rath Yatra will start from Dharmanagar in North District and Sabroom in South District. This visit is to check his preparation. Again, the Chief Minister expressed hope that the BJP government will be re-established in the 2023 elections. Sabrum was accompanied by Minister Sushant Chowdhury, MLA Shankar Roy, South District District Magistrate Saju Vaid A, South District Superintendent of Police Kulband Singh Yadav and Tinku Roy along with other officials.
