Pradesh Congress celebrates Adivasi Diwas

Agartala August 9: August 9 is the International Day of Indigenous Peoples. Congress party is holding various programs across the country on the occasion of International Adivasi Day. As a part of that, various three-day programs have been undertaken in the state on the initiative of the state Congress.

As part of this three-day program, a discussion meeting was held on Wednesday at Muktdhara Praksha Griha in the capital. State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, MLA Gopal Chandra Roy and others were present. State Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha said the National Congress has started a country-wide tribal pride program. As a part of that, the Adivasi Mahasabha has been organized on the initiative of the Province Congress. The representatives of all tribal people groups will be honored in this tribal meeting.
