Agartala, August 9: The Pradesh Congress celebrated the Movement Apart from India today in front of the Pradesh Congress Bhavan with due dignity. Then on this day, the party leadership offered wreaths at the Gandhi Ghat Shaheed Bedi.

Moreover, on this day tributes are paid to the portraits of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi.

On this day, Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha said, on the eve of independence, Mahatma Gandhi called for the Quit India movement. And at that time the people of the country jumped to release the grief of subjugation of the country. According to him, although the country is independent, the current ruling party is again pushing the country towards subjugation and claimed that the freedom of speech and self-respect of the countrymen are being disturbed in various ways due to the current government.
