The schedule was formally declared on Friday by Dr. K. Laxman, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and the party’s National Returning Officer. The notification was issued from the BJP’s central office in New Delhi, outlining the detailed timeline and procedures for the election.

According to the notification, the electoral roll for the election was published on January 16. The process of filing nominations will take place on January 19. On the same day, scrutiny of nominations will be conducted, followed by the withdrawal of nominations, if any. In the event that voting becomes necessary, it will be held on January 20 between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. The official declaration of results will follow immediately thereafter. All stages of the election process will be conducted at the BJP headquarters located at 6-A, Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi.

The announcement comes at a time when the BJP is intensifying its organizational strengthening efforts across the country. The Sangathan Parv initiative is aimed at reinforcing party structure from the grassroots to the national level. Dr. Laxman emphasized that the campaign is progressing steadily and that the election of the National President represents a significant step toward achieving its broader organizational goals.

JP Nadda, who has been serving as the BJP’s National President since 2020, has led the party through multiple electoral contests and periods of expansion. The forthcoming election is expected to determine the leadership that will steer the BJP through its next phase of political strategy and organizational challenges.

The announcement has generated considerable interest among party workers and political observers nationwide, as the new National President will play a decisive role in shaping the BJP’s future direction and vision.
