Agartala: August 24: A minor girl has been allegedly assaulted by Lata Nath, a corporator of Ward No. 5, Agartala Municipal Corporation. Her family members have accused Nath of attempting to poison her. The girl is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital, and the incident has caused a stir in the entire area.

According to the details of the incident, the victim’s family had approached Lata Nath regarding a certain issue. However, instead of addressing their complaint, Nath allegedly ordered her associates to attack the victim’s house. Later, Nath and her associates allegedly went to the victim’s house and brutally assaulted her. They also allegedly tried to kill her by forcing poison down her throat. The girl is currently receiving treatment at GB Hospital in Agartala.
