Agartala: Jan 01: The winter session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to begin on January 10th and will run until January 15th. This decision was made unanimously during the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, as announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath.

 

Minister Nath stated that the BAC meeting took place today to discuss the winter session. Following tradition, the first session of the year will commence with an address by Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on January 10th. The session will include discussions on the state government’s plans for the upcoming year. Additionally, the Tripura government plans to introduce two bills during this session, with the possibility of a third bill being introduced. The budget session is scheduled to start in March.
