Voting workers are busy at Umakanta school

Agartala: Feb 14: Ahead of the Thirteenth Legislative Assembly elections on February 16, the poll workers engaged in the election of 8 assembly constituencies under the Sadar subdivision received their voting materials from Umakanta School on Tuesday. From this morning, the workers engaged in polling received their materials.
Sadar’s Additional SDM and Returning Officer Baijayanti Das said that all the workers received their voting materials on this day. There are 453 polling stations in 8 assemblies under Sadar. Teams of polling workers assigned to all polling stations have received their materials on the day. He said that all the teams will leave for their booths from Wednesday morning with these voting materials. Additional SDM and Returning Officer of Sadar Baijayanti Das said that there are 2 polling stations run by a total of 16 women in each of the 8 assembly constituencies under Sadar.
