Agartala: August 07: In a shocking incident that sparked public outrage, a jawan of the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) has been suspended for allegedly violating human rights by physically assaulting a civilian in broad daylight. The accused, Suman Das, was serving as a ward boy in the 3rd Battalion of TSR.
The incident occurred on Lakshmibinarayan Bari Road in Agartala, where Suman Das, while on duty, was caught on camera kicking a young man who had fallen on the road.
