From Ganganagar, the Chief Minister inaugurated 28 projects including a Plastic Waste Segregation Centre (Clean and Green Earth Park) and laid foundation stones for five others. Addressing the gathering, he shared that since January 2025, he has inaugurated or laid the foundation for projects worth ₹674 crore across the state.

Dr. Saha, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “double-engine government,” emphasized the government’s focus on last-mile delivery of development benefits. He lauded Ganganagar block’s recent recognition with the PM Award for Excellence in Public Administration and credited District Magistrate Saju Wahid A for the achievement.

Highlighting improvements in healthcare, Dr. Saha said the number of MBBS seats at Agartala Government Medical College has risen to 400, while the Dental College now offers 63 seats. He also spoke of plans to expand GBP Hospital and strengthen health infrastructure at district and sub-divisional levels.

Touching on social issues, the Chief Minister raised concerns over rising drug abuse among youth, urging parental vigilance. He also mentioned that due to effective deportation drives, Bangladeshi infiltrators no longer view Tripura as a safe haven.

The event witnessed the presence of Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Tinku Roy, Dhalai Zilla Sabhadhipati Susmita Das, MDC Bhumikananda Reang, Secretary of Social Welfare Tapas Roy, and other dignitaries. A large turnout from the Janajati community, particularly women, marked the occasion.
