Agartala: July 02: Tripura is set to witness a significant political development as the state cabinet is scheduled to expand on Thursday under the leadership of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha. The oath-taking ceremony will be held at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan in Agartala.
According to sources, Nalchar MLA Kishore Barman is expected to be inducted into the cabinet during this expansion. Barman, who has gained recognition for his growing influence and organizational capabilities within the ruling party, is likely to be assigned the Education Department, a key portfolio in the state government.
In a consequential political reshuffle, MLA Rampada Jamatia is being considered to fill Kishore Barman’s organizational position, should Barman officially take on ministerial responsibilities.
