Agartala, November 15: The traffic department has launched an operation against illegal parking. Today, an operation was conducted by traffic police from GB market to cancer hospital. West District Traffic Police Superintendent Manik Das said that the operation will continue for a month.

Traffic Police Superintendent Manik Das said that the area from GB Bazar to Cancer Hospital has been kept as a no-picking zone. But it has been seen that many vehicles are kept in no packing zone in GB market. As a result, there is traffic jam in the area. He said that this campaign is basically to free GB market from traffic jam.

On this day, he also said that the shopkeepers of GB market parked their vehicles in front of their shops. Seeing that, the seller also stopped the vehicle. Therefore, starting from the shopkeepers of the GB market, the general public has been banned from keeping vehicles in the no-parking zone. They have been warned by the traffic police. He warned that if anyone tries to violate the law in the area, legal action will be taken against them.
