The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated at the Agartala GRP police station, and authorities suspect that more arrests may be made in connection with the case. A formal case has been registered at the Agartala GRP police station, and the arrested individuals will be produced before the court tomorrow.

The detainees are Ikhlas Mia (24) (Third Gender) of District: Kishoreganj, Rubayet Hossain (20) (Third Gender) of District: Gazipur, Zakira (22) of District: Kishoreganj, Zakariya (19) of  District: Netrokona, Tanveer Ahmed (20) (Third Gender) of  District: Netrokona, Mohammad Mominul Haque (54) of District: Noakhali, Bangladesh.

The individuals are believed to have crossed the international border into India illegally, likely with the intent of traveling further within the country. Given the nature of the operation, authorities are looking into possible connections to larger networks facilitating such illegal movements. The case has sparked concerns about border security, and further investigations are ongoing. The arrested individuals will face legal proceedings in accordance with Indian law.
