Agartala: Mar 28: Ruling BJP MLA Ram Prasad Pal was elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Assembly.
Ram Prasad was among the four ministers of the first BJP-led government who did not find place in the second saffron party led by Chief Minister Dr.Manik saha.
The Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, opposition leader Animesh Debbarma, CPI(M) party leader Jitendra Choudhury congratulated paul for being elected as deputy speaker of the house.
