In a composed tone, Pradyot acknowledged that similar agreements had been inked in the past. However, he emphasized that this time, the newly signed agreement must be trusted and diligently implemented. “Experience and administrative acumen,” he asserted, “should guide the responsible authorities.”

A committee, led by Pradyot, will oversee the agreement’s execution, ensuring that it benefits all stakeholders. Speaking at Baramura, he underscored the pivotal role of Tripuri tribals in shaping the state’s future. “A great Tripura,” he declared, “is inconceivable without their active participation.”

The Home Minister’s acknowledgment of historical inaccuracies prompted Pradyot to advocate for necessary revisions. “History,” he asserted, “must evolve to reflect the truth.” Maharaja Bir Bikram’s vision of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” resonated with Pradyot, who recognized the sacrifices made by tribals in securing this agreement.

Today, Pradyot concluded his hunger strike in Baramura, marking a momentous occasion. Simultaneously, the Autonomous District Council (ADC) declared Monday, March 4, a holiday in honor of the agreement’s signing.
