Police recover 7mm pistol and an empty magazine: Three arrested

Agartala: Feb 15: In connection with an investigation into a case filed in December at Sidhai Police Station, a 7mm pistol and an empty magazine have been recovered from the Jagatpur area.

According to Sidhai Police, a case was filed at Sidhai Police Station in December under the Arms Act. During the investigation, police arrested Rajkumar Debnath, Palash Pal, and another person from the Jagatpur area. However, no weapons were found in their homes that day.

The police further stated that during the remand of the accused, a search was conducted at Rajkumar Debnath’s house on Saturday based on his confession. During the search, a 7mm pistol and an empty magazine were recovered.

The police are currently investigating the incident, and the accused have been remanded in police custody for three days, according to police sources.
