Saurav Kumar highlighted key issues such as a shortage of teachers, the spread of drug addiction, and other systemic problems as major challenges in the education sector. He criticized the current state government and the Chief Minister for their perceived indifference to these matters.

He further stated that the level of drug addiction among students on college campuses has significantly increased over the past seven years, a situation he claimed was unprecedented. According to him, the state government has not taken any action to address this growing concern.

Saurav Kumar also expressed surprise over BJP National President J.P. Nadda’s recent announcement that girls who pass secondary school would be provided with scooters. He questioned the feasibility of this promise, pointing out that secondary school graduates are typically 16 to 17 years old, an age at which they are not eligible for driving licenses, as the minimum age requirement is 18.

Concluding his remarks, Saurav Kumar Shil described the state of the education sector as dire and reiterated his call for the resignation of the state government as the only solution to these issues.
