During the visit, Minister Das interacted with local livestock owners who had brought their cattle for treatment. He inquired about the quality of services being provided and whether the veterinary staff were attentive and responsive to their needs.

The Minister emphasized the importance of efficient and compassionate service delivery, stating that the well-being of livestock farmers is directly linked to the performance of veterinary personnel. “Veterinary services are not just about animal health—they are deeply connected to rural livelihoods. A small act of negligence here can severely impact a family’s income,” he said.

Addressing the officials and staff present at the centre, Minister Das urged them to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and professionalism. He reminded them that their role is vital in supporting the agricultural economy of the state.

Later, while speaking to media persons, Minister Das stated that the inspection reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening rural veterinary infrastructure. He reaffirmed that regular monitoring and accountability are essential to ensure that grassroots services remain effective and farmer-friendly.

He further added that such inspections will continue in different parts of the state to ensure that veterinary care is accessible, reliable, and up to standard. The government, he said, is focused on both infrastructure development and capacity-building for frontline veterinary staff.

The visit was well-received by locals, who appreciated the Minister’s hands-on approach and his engagement with both the community and service providers.
