Agartala August 4: Dengue is raging in the state. For the past few days, dengue has been chilling the bones in Dhanpur of Sonamura sub-division. However, within two days dengue has affected other sub-divisions apart from Sonamura sub-division. But till now there is no official news of dengue infection in Agartala Municipal Corporation area.

Still special management has been taken by Agartala Municipal Corporation. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder held a meeting with the corporators at the conference hall of Agartala Municipal Corporation on Friday while talking to the CMO. The mayor said that in order to prevent dengue from affecting the Agartala Municipal Corporation area, a ward-based committee will be formed to make people aware. And people will be informed about how to get dengue and how to prevent it because if aware, it seems possible to avoid this disease, corporation authorities. Meanwhile, state Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha expressed concern about dengue.
