Large number of women have been reported missing in Tripura

Agartala: Jan 13: The Home Minister and Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, provided information regarding the number of missing women in the state. In a written reply to an unmarked question by the Leader of the Opposition, Jitendra Chowdhury, on the second day of the 13th Assembly, he stated that a total of 808 women were reported missing to police stations in the state from April 1 to October 31 last year. As of January 8 this year, 721 of these women have been rescued.
