Khowai Police Arrest Six Bangladeshi Nationals for Illegal Entry

Agartala: Dec 20: Based on a tip-off, Khowai police station has arrested six Bangladeshi nationals. During police interrogation, they confessed to illegally entering Tripura. Fake documents were recovered from them.

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khowai police station said that on Thursday night, they received information that six Bangladeshi nationals were staying at a guest house in the Hospital Chaumuhani area. Based on this information, the police conducted a raid and arrested six Bangladeshi nationals. A search of their belongings yielded fake Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, and PAN cards.

 

The arrested individuals include Mohammad Kabir, Tania Begum, Ayesha Khatun, Md. Momin, and two children. During interrogation, they revealed that their home is in the Feni area under the Majda police station. All of them had illegally entered India.
