Agartala: Sept 07: Beneficiaries under TRPC, a tribal welfare or development organization, who have experienced rubber plantation damage due to recent floods are required to submit an application to TRPC. Based on these applications, TRPC will take initiatives for rubber plantations for all beneficiaries next year after assessing the extent of the damage.
This announcement was made by TRPC Chairperson Patal Kanya Jamatia during a press conference on Saturday. She stated that applications can be submitted to the South Zone Office, Dhalai Zone Office, and the main office of TRPC. The press conference also provided various information regarding the activities and development of TRPC, and highlighted the organization’s role during the recent devastating flood.
Chairperson Jamatia further informed that 15,919.84 hectares of land have been planted with rubber trees in the 2024-25 financial year, and saplings have been provided to 16,182 beneficiary families.
