Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Thursday was sworn in as the 20th Governor of Tripura. He had succeeded outgoing governor SN Arya.

Agartala: Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Thursday was sworn in as the 20th Governor of Tripura. He had succeeded outgoing governor SN Arya. In presence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Members of the state cabinet, leaders of ruling and opposition parties, Reddy was administered the oath of office at Raj Bhavan premises. Ready hails from the state Telengana where he served in various positions before being appointed as the Governor of Tripura. Speaking to the media persons following his swearing in ceremony, the Governor said that he would work in synergy with the state government to bring transparency, accountability and empowerment to the system. He also hailed Dr Manik Saha and his government. “I extend my sincere thanks to her excellency President of India for entrusting me with the responsibility of Tripura Governor. I shall work my level best to contribute in the progress of the state”, he told media persons.
