Illegal vendors given 3 days to vacate Lake Chowmuhuni market

Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar has issued a directive to illegal vendors in the Lake Chowmuhuni market, giving them three days to vacate the area.

During an inspection of the market, the Mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the illegal encroachments and unauthorized businesses. He noted that some vendors had constructed shops on public roads, causing inconvenience to the public. Additionally, he pointed out the unsanitary conditions in the market and surrounding areas due to these activities.

The inspection was conducted with the Municipal Commissioner, Shailesh Kumar Yadav, other departmental officials, and Ward 19 corporator, Bhaskar Debbarma.

Mayor Majumdar warned that if the illegal vendors do not vacate within three days, the administration will take action to evict them.
