Agartala: Dec 15: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura on Sunday, highlighting the profound value of human life. The event, held at the Sukanta Academy auditorium, coincided with the Association’s 11th Annual General Meeting.

In his address, Governor Nallu emphasized the selfless nature of blood donation, underscoring its significance in saving lives and fostering a spirit of community. He praised the Association for their initiative, noting how engineers, traditionally focused on their professional duties, have come forward to contribute to social causes. The Governor remarked on the importance of such events in addressing medical emergencies and ensuring an adequate supply of blood in state blood banks.

 

The blood donation camp saw enthusiastic participation from both association members and the general public. The organizers made sure that all necessary arrangements, including safety and hygiene protocols, were in place to ensure a smooth donation process. This event not only provided a vital service but also exemplified the collective responsibility of society in supporting life-saving initiatives.

 

In addition to the blood donation drive, the 11th Annual General Meeting provided a platform for the Association of Service Engineers to discuss various professional and social initiatives, further strengthening the community’s role in contributing to societal well-being. This gathering exemplified the Association’s commitment to both professional excellence and social responsibility.
