The Election Commission of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has published the final voter list for all 28 constituencies, confirming a total of 9,62,697 registered voters. The release of the electoral rolls marks a significant milestone ahead of the upcoming ADC elections and sets the stage for intensified poll preparations across the tribal council areas.
According to official data, the voter list includes 4,82,025 male voters and 4,80,666 female voters, reflecting a nearly balanced gender distribution. Additionally, 6 voters have been registered under the third gender category, highlighting efforts toward inclusive electoral participation.
Election officials stated that the final rolls have been prepared after completing all due procedures, including claims and objections, to ensure accuracy and transparency in the electoral process. The updated list will now serve as the official basis for conducting the forthcoming TTAADC elections.
Authorities emphasized that the publication of the final electoral rolls is a crucial step in strengthening democratic participation in the autonomous district council areas, which are predominantly inhabited by tribal communities. The administration has also reiterated its commitment to conducting free, fair, and peaceful elections.
With the final voter list now in place, election-related activities are expected to pick up pace. This includes the deployment of polling personnel, finalization of polling stations, and logistical arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the elections.
Political parties and candidates are also likely to ramp up their campaign efforts in the coming days as the focus shifts firmly toward the electoral contest.
The announcement has generated considerable interest among voters and stakeholders, as the TTAADC elections play a vital role in shaping grassroots governance and development in Tripura’s tribal regions.
