Father dies after son in road accident

Agartala: December 12: On December 9, the son died tragically in a collision with the car of the South District Magistrate while going out to invite his mother’s funeral. His father was critically injured in that incident. After a long struggle with death, the father breathed his last today after failing all the efforts of the doctors. The death of three children of the same family within a few days has cast a shadow of mourning on the whole of Belonia.

Incidentally, on December 9, Uttam Pal of North Kalabaria Gram Panchayat area of Belonia Bharat Chandra Block, was riding a bike with his 7-year-old son went out to invite mother’s funeral. Around 3.30 am on Saturday, their bike collided with the vehicle of the District Commissioner of South District in the area adjacent to Belonia Barapathari Gorznia BSF camp. Uttam’s son died on the spot. Uttam was sent to GB Hospital in critical condition. But even that did not save lives. After a long struggle with death, the father breathed his last today after failing all the efforts of the doctors. The death of three children of the same family within a few days has cast a shadow of mourning on the whole of Belonia.
