Engineers’ Forum Demands Arrest of Accused in Electricity Department Assault Case

Agartala, June 03: The Engineers’ Forum has taken decisive action following an alleged incident of assault and molestation involving the senior manager of the electricity department within the court compound.

The Engineers’ Forum filed a formal complaint at the local police station, accusing the senior manager, Apu Pal, of assault and molestation during a protest program on May 29. Today, the forum submitted a deputation to the police headquarters, urging the immediate arrest of the accused. Their demand for swift action underscores the seriousness of the allegations. In a show of solidarity and determination, members of the Engineers’ Forum blocked the road near Fire Service Chaumohani, demanding justice and accountability.
