What used to be a river, has become a dustbin, Dharmanagar Pur Parishad has taken initiative to restore the blocked Juri river.

There was a river . It is now a dustbin Juri river in Dharmanagar of Uttar district is now empty.

For a long time, common people have been voicing the demand for river reform . The demands of the residents are finally going to be fulfilled . Complexity is going to be cut by the initiative of Dharmanagar Pur Parishad.

On Monday morning, Dharmanagar Pur Parishad initiated a program organized at Mahesh Smriti Road to restore Juri river in Dharmanagar Rajbari, i.e. ‘Mission Juri’. Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker and Dharmanagar MLA Vishwabandhu Sen, Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairman Pradyot De Sarkar, Vice Chairman Manju Nath along with all councilors of the Municipal Council, students of every school under Dharmanagar sub-division, NGOs and officials and cleaners of various government departments were present.
At the end of the program, MLA Biswabandhu Sen, Pur Parishad Chairman and everyone joined the Juri river cleaning campaign. MLA Biswabandhu Sen instructed to use the dustbins provided by the administration in all corners of the city in addition to cleaning the garbage with their own hands. He also thanked the Dharmanagar Municipal Council
