CPI(M) State Committee Convenes First Meeting Post 24th Party Congress

Agartala, May 11—The CPI(M) state committee held its first meeting following the 24th Party Congress on Sunday at the party’s state office in Agartala. The meeting was attended by Central Committee General Secretary M.A. Baby, Politburo member and Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Choudhury, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, and other senior party leaders.

During the meeting, Jitendra Choudhury highlighted discussions from the 24th Party Congress, emphasizing the deliberation on several key issues. Party members focused on strategies to effectively implement the decisions made at the Congress within the state, both organizationally and politically.

Sources indicate that the discussions included measures aimed at strengthening party activities in Tripura, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives outlined at the Party Congress.
