Agartala September 2: State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee on Saturday urged the people of 20 Boxanagar and 23 Dhanpur assembly constituencies to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming by-elections on September 5. He said that before the by-elections, the opposition political parties in the state had tried to mislead people by saying that there was an alliance.

But people did not see them well. And took a dig at the 35-year-old CPI (M) government and said they could not fight without their support. Along with the support, they stumble. And CPIM cannot fight now without a partner. Rajib Bhattacharjee said that there is nothing more shameful and condemnable than this.

Even the last support of Congress was buried by former minister Billal Mia by joining BJP party few days ago. Therefore, the victory of the nominated candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party in the two assembly constituencies is certain, said Rajib Bhattacharjee. He also said in the press conference organized at the state BJP office that Tipra has made it clear that they will not support the CPIM. Leader of Opposition Animesh Debbarma asked local people to vote for whomever they want. Because they also know that only the double engine government of Bharatiya Janata Party can take the state of Tripura to development. Rajeev Bhattacharya expressed hope that the people of the two assembly constituencies will vote for development in the state in the upcoming by-elections. State BJP spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharjee was present at the organized press conference.
