Construction of English Medium College Commences at Old Central Jail Site

Agartala: Mar 28: The construction work for a new English Medium College has officially begun at the site of the former central jail, with a total budget allocation of ₹17,21,87,000 for the project.

This development was announced by Education Minister and Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha during the sixth day of the Tripura Legislative Assembly. The information was shared in response to a non-starred question posed by CPM legislator Dipankar Sen.

 

Chief Minister Saha confirmed today that the construction work is underway, marking a significant step in the advancement of educational infrastructure in the region.
