Agartala July 28: A review meeting was held with the officials of various departments of the district in the conference hall of the District Governor’s office of Sepahijala district on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, MLA Sushanta Dev, MLA Kishore Barman, MLA Antara Deb Sarkar and other public representatives were present in the meeting.

In today’s meeting, the officials of various departments gave details about the progress of their respective departments. The Chief Minister was informed about the work of each department in detail and gave the necessary instructions. After the meeting, Sepahijala District Magistrate Bishal Kumar informed that a review meeting was held on the activities of various line departments of the district. The Chief Minister has directed to solve the various problems of the people quickly. In some cases, negligence has been noticed by the chief minister. The officials of the concerned departments have been instructed to take necessary measures. He also said that the Chief Minister said in today’s meeting that he will hold another review meeting in the next two to three months.

 

For the overall development of the people of the state, there are several schemes implemented by the state and central government. But due to the negligence of some government officials, common people are deprived of the benefits of government projects in many cases. In this case, the decision of the chief minister to go to the district to hold a review meeting is a timely decision, according to the experts.
