Agartala: Sept 02: In recent days, miscreants have vandalized idols at several locations, including Ranirbazar and Vishalgarh. Addressing the media at a blood donation camp in Jackson Gate area of the capital on Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha condemned these incidents, stating that the destruction of idols is unacceptable. He assured that the police take immediate action whenever such incidents occur.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these acts are addressed both socially and politically. He suggested that some individuals are not comfortable with the state’s peaceful atmosphere and urged those responsible to cease such activities, warning that strict action will be taken against them. The recent vandalism of idols in Vishalgarh and Ranirbazar has become a significant issue, prompting the police administration to hold peace meetings to control the situation. The Chief Minister reiterated that such incidents will not be tolerated.
