Agartala: Sept 16: A new book titled “Tripura Mati’r Urborota” (Fertility of Tripura’s Soil) was unveiled at a ceremony held at the Agartala Press Club on Monday. The event was inaugurated by the Governor of the state, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu. In his address, the Governor emphasized the importance of agriculture, highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on the sector and the various initiatives undertaken to support farmers.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including the President of the Press Club, Jayanta Bhattacharya, Dr. B.O. Choudhury, and the author of the book, Indrajit Chakraborty.
