Sabroom, June 9 — A case of vandalism at the BJP party office in Kalachhara Bazar, located in the Satcahnd block of Sabroom subdivision, has sparked political tensions and public outcry. The incident reportedly took place on June 5, and a formal complaint was filed at the Manubazar Police Station on June 7.
According to the complaint, the office was ransacked by miscreants, causing damage to property. Two individuals—Hari Tripura, Vice-President of BJP’s 39-Monu Mandal, and Arjun Das—have been named in the written complaint filed by the party.
In response, police officials from Manubazar Police Station visited the site on Sunday and have launched an active investigation. Authorities are working to verify the details mentioned in the complaint and uncover the motive behind the act of vandalism.
Police sources confirmed that the investigation is being taken seriously and appropriate legal action will be taken once the inquiry is completed. “We are verifying the facts and looking into all possible angles. Once the investigation concludes, necessary legal steps will follow,” a police official said.
The incident has drawn strong condemnation from local political circles as well as the general public. Many have expressed concern over rising political tensions in the region and called for swift action against those responsible.
Residents and political observers alike are urging law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation to ensure that those guilty of disrupting political harmony are held accountable.
