Agartala: May 16: The success of Operation Sindoor has become a rallying point for national pride, as Union Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L Murugan, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisive leadership in securing the nation against terrorism.

Addressing a gathering during the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Belonia, Dr. Murugan emphasized that the flawless execution of the operation reflected India’s unwavering commitment to national security. “The world saw a glimpse of India’s resolve. Operation Sindoor sends a clear message—India will never bow to terrorism,” he declared.

The rally, organized by the BJP South District Committee, was a tribute to the Indian Army’s heroic efforts in repelling the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. It witnessed participation from a cross-section of society—Hindu, Muslim, and tribal communities—united in patriotism.

The Yatra commenced from Belonia Kalinagar, New Motor Stand, with participants waving the Tricolour, singing patriotic songs, and chanting slogans like “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Hindustan Zindabad.”

Prominent leaders including State Minority and Cooperative Minister Shukla Charan Noatia, Zilla Sabhadipati Dipak Dutta, South District BJP President Dipayan Chowdhury, and State BJP General Secretary Tapash Deb took part. MLAs, mandal presidents, and leaders from various party fronts also joined in.

Dr. Murugan praised the synergy between intelligence agencies and defense forces in executing the mission, underlining India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. “Our brave soldiers exemplify courage and sacrifice. Their valor ensures that India’s security remains non-negotiable,” he said.

He assured the public that the government remains vigilant and fully prepared to neutralize future threats with equal force and precision.
