Agartala: August 14: The state government plans to make Tripura a hub in the health sector. Various private hospitals are expressing their desire to develop in Tripura. The government is thinking about whether they can be given a chance. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this at the blood donation camp organized on the occasion of Rishi Arobindo’s birth centenary and 77th Independence Day celebrations on the 69th foundation day of Arobindo Sangh on Monday. The chief minister said that this year’s budget has allocated funds to open drug addiction centers in every district for the treatment of drug addicts. He also said that super specialty medical services have been introduced in 7 departments at GB Hospital. As a result, the rate of patient referrals abroad has reduced significantly. There are 225 seats available for medical studies in Tripura state. The number of doctors in the state is very less. Attempts are being made to establish a medical hub in the state of Tripura. Investors from outside the state have expressed their desire to come. Arrangements have been made for the promotion of doctors in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha claimed that the state’s medical business has improved overall. Speaking about the club, the Chief Minister said that the solution of various problems including the development of the area depends on the club. Clubs have to play a neutral role. Otherwise people will not get support because people go to the club to solve the problem with a lot of hope. Therefore, in general, if the problem is solved, people do not have to go to the police station. Those who are involved in drug consumption should be cleansed from addiction. The Chief Minister said about the blood donation camp that blood donation is a great gift. Many people are still afraid of donating blood. They should not be left behind. Donate blood should come forward. And by donating blood one can stay free from various diseases. He also said that the people of Tripura have proved it for the people in the blood donation camp. This is proved by the enthusiasm of the people to come forward after the appeal to the people of the state. And Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha urged to continue this trend in the coming days. The blood donation camp was also attended by Mayor Deepak Majumder, MLA Minarani Sarkar and others.
