Holy Cross, St. Paul’s Students Shine in ICSE, ISC Exams in Agartala

Agartala: Two prominent schools in Tripura — Holy Cross School and St. Paul’s School — have delivered impressive performances in this year’s ICSE and ISC examinations, with students securing high scores across streams and maintaining strong pass percentages.

Holy Cross School recorded a remarkable 100 per cent pass rate in the ICSE (Class 10) examination, with all 250 students successfully clearing the test. Among them, 133 secured distinction, 97 achieved first division, and 20 passed in second division. Sourish Debnath emerged as the school topper with an outstanding 98.4 per cent, followed by Sangskar Das with 98 per cent and Torsha Chaudhury with 97.8 per cent.

In the ISC (Class 12) results, the school maintained a high success rate of 98.5 per cent, with 131 out of 133 students qualifying. In the Science stream, Ankan Chanda led with 94.75 per cent, followed by Debajyoti Paul with 89.5 per cent and Aditya Bikram Chakraborty with 88.25 per cent.

The Arts stream saw exceptional performances, with Didriksha Sengupta topping at 97.25 per cent, followed by Rajnandini Das at 96.75 per cent. Diya Roy Chowdhury and Sristi Sarkar jointly secured third position with 94.5 per cent each. In Commerce, Palash Debnath topped with 77 per cent, while Anisha Jamatia and Bijoyshree Debbarma followed closely with 76.75 per cent.

Principal Fr. Jilson Tom congratulated the students, attributing the success to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents.

St. Paul’s School also posted encouraging results. In the ISC Science stream, Sarbajeet Bhattacharjee topped with 91 per cent, followed by Aldrin Reang with 87 per cent. In Commerce, Priya Debbarma led with 86 per cent, while Debangi Acharjee and Ritesh Halam secured 84 per cent and 80 per cent, respectively.

In Humanities, Somraj Dey topped with an impressive 98 per cent, followed by Anamika Shil with 96 per cent. The school recorded a 90 per cent pass rate in this stream. In ICSE, St. Paul’s achieved a 91 per cent pass rate, with Trishank Bhaumik topping at 95 per cent.

Overall, the results highlight academic excellence and consistent performance by students of both institutions.
