The polling rate in the Tripura assembly elections is 81.10 percent till 4 pm

Agartala: Feb 16: 81.10 percent voting in Tripura Assembly elections till 4 pm. Most Nalchar and least Bagbasa centers polled.According to the Election Commission report, out of 28 lakh 14 thousand 584 voters, 22 lakh 82 thousand 397 have already exercised their right to vote.Incidentally, voters exercise their franchise in a festive mood in every election in Tripura. 2023 assembly election is no exception. Voting has started from 7 am. Voters were seen standing in long queues from the start. Women’s participation in voting is particularly notable. Voting is still going on in some assembly constituencies after the scheduled polling time.Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Heavyweight candidates including Manik Saha voted in their respective centres. Everyone claimed victory.
