Agartala, Oct 27 : Three-year-old Aadyam Dey from Agartala in Tripura’s West district has been recognised by the Asian Book of World Records for his abilities in early learning, cognitive development and practical life skills.
According to a certificate issued on September 29, 2026, Aadyam received the recognition in the category of “Outstanding Achievement in Kids Special Talent – Early Learning, Cognitive Skills & Life Skills”.
At an early age, Aadyam has demonstrated a range of abilities, including riding a bicycle, solving puzzles, identifying basic traffic signals and participating in simple cooking activities under adult supervision.
He can ride a pedal bicycle fitted with training wheels for more than 100 metres and solve animal- and object-matching puzzles containing around 9-12 pieces in less than a minute, demonstrating his coordination, observation and problem-solving skills.
Aadyam has also developed an interest in guided visualisation and meditation. At times, he creates his own visualisations and guides his mother through the exercises, reflecting his imagination and ability to communicate ideas.
His interest in cooking has further highlighted his practical learning abilities. He can remember ingredients, spices and the sequence of activities involved in preparing simple dishes, while participating in the process under adult supervision.
Aadyam’s father, Anujit Dey, is an Assistant Public Prosecutor in West Tripura, while his mother, Alisha Chakraborty, is a singer and works as an MIS Assistant with the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM).
The family expressed happiness and pride over the recognition, describing it as an encouraging milestone in the child’s early development.
They emphasised the importance of nurturing curiosity, creativity, independence and practical skills from an early age, while providing children with opportunities to explore their interests in a supportive environment.
Aadyam’s achievement has brought joy to his family, relatives and well-wishers. His recognition highlights the importance of encouraging children’s individual interests and natural abilities, allowing them to develop confidence through everyday activities, observation and play.
The family hopes that his achievement will inspire parents to recognise and nurture their children’s unique talents, while ensuring that learning remains an enjoyable and age-appropriate experience.
