Agartala: Mar 22: The Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor Dr. Manik Saha, recently hosted a team from Reliance Group in the state. This visit follows an earlier meeting between the Chief Minister and Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Group, during the former’s visit to Mumbai. At that time, Dr. Saha extended an invitation to Mr. Ambani to explore Tripura’s development potential.
In response, a delegation led by the Business Head of Reliance Jio’s North Eastern Zone arrived in Tripura. The Chief Minister shared this development on social media, highlighting the team’s discussions on various investment opportunities. Key areas of interest included IT and IT-enabled services, data centers, natural gas exploration, fertilizer production, petroleum, ethanol production from bamboo, rubber wood furniture, agro-food processing, and tourism. Notably, the delegation expressed a strong interest in the IT sector.
This visit marks a significant step in fostering collaboration between the state government and Reliance Group, aiming to boost Tripura’s economic growth and development.
