Agartala: Left-leaning student youth organizations took to the streets, voicing concerns over irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results and the alleged leak of question papers for the recruitment test in the Autonomous District Council (ADC).

The procession, originating from the capital’s Chhatra Yuva Bhavan, wound its way through the city, urging citizens to stand against the perceived conspiracy jeopardizing the prospects of students and unemployed youth.

SFI state secretary Sandeepan Deb explained that today’s protest march aimed to secure the arrest and punishment of those responsible for leaking the question paper related to the recruitment test for 110 positions of Sub Zonal Deputy Officer and Deputy Principal Officer in the ADC.

Simultaneously, the protesters demanded a thorough investigation into all corruption allegations surrounding the NEET exam results.

Representatives from four left-wing student youth organizations participated in today’s demonstration, emphasizing their commitment to addressing these critical issues.

DYFI state secretary Nabaran Deb and leaders from other organizations also joined the procession, underscoring the collective concern for transparency and fairness in educational and employment processes.
