8th May is ‘World Red Cross’ Day Henri Dunant was born on May 8, 1928 in Geneva, Switzerland, and is the founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Every year 8th May is observed as Red Cross Day to pay tribute to him Like every year, on this occasion Tripura State Red Cross Society organized a discussion meeting at Red Cross Bhavan in the capital. BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharya inaugurated the meeting Agartala Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumder, MLA Kishore Barman and Corporator Abhijit Mallick and others were also present. The guests discussed the importance of World Red Cross in the meeting.
