A member of the organization stated that the YTF had planned a demonstration for December 5th to protest against the construction of a 5-star hotel in the old Raj Bhavan. However, this program has been postponed for now. The reason for this postponement is that the former supremo and MDC of Tipra Motha, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, is currently out of the state on official business. Therefore, the program has been postponed.

They further added that tomorrow, the Tipra Women’s Federation will organize a protest march from Astabal Maidan against the construction of a 5-star hotel in the old Raj Bhavan.
