Agartala, January 19: Youth shot dead over family dispute. Panic spread over the incident in Tilak Kumar Rowaza neighborhood under Ambasa police station last night.
It is learned that the locals were frightened by the sound of gunshots in Tilak Kumar Rowaza neighborhood of Gurdhan Village under Ambassa police station. Last night, Jaisha Tripura (22) and Onkajoy Tripura (20) involved in a heated argument with Khadrajoy Tripura (22) of the area, over family matters. In the aftermath of the incident, Jaisha Tripura and Onkajoy Tripura brought two country made guns from the house and fired at Khadrajoy Tripura. Immediately Khadrajoy fell to the ground. Local people witnessed the incident and admitted him to GB Hospital in critical condition.
On the other hand, his partner somehow managed to escape and save his life. 2 accused are absconding now. Meanwhile, the police rushed to the spot after receiving the information. However, 2 guns used by them were recovered.
