Agartala: Feb 22: A shocking incident unfolded in the Belonia Bhitarbazar area, leaving the community in turmoil. The lifeless body of a young man was discovered inside his own auto rickshaw.
Promptly responding to the news, local police arrived at the scene. The victim’s elder brother harbors suspicions of foul play, believing that his brother was murdered.
An investigation into this unnatural death has been initiated. The deceased has been identified as Indrajit Saha (27), a resident of the Garage Tila area. His profession was that of an auto driver.
According to the victim’s brother, Indrajit had recently taken up work as a painter in the Chottakhola area. Their last conversation occurred around 9:30 p.m. the previous night, during which Indrajit mentioned returning home to his residence in SB C Nagar after completing his work.
However, communication ceased thereafter. When the shop opened the next morning, the brother noticed Indrajit’s auto parked in front. Investigating further, he discovered Indrajit’s lifeless body on the back seat, with blood visible in several places.
The auto’s keys and mobile phone were found a short distance away. Rushed to Bilonia Hospital, Indrajit was declared dead by the attending doctor.
The grieving brother alleges that Indrajit met with a premeditated murder. The Bilonia police have launched an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
