Woman Injured in Auto-Rickshaw Collision Near Old Raj Bhavan

Agaratala: August 26: In an unfortunate incident today, a collision between two auto-rickshaws near the old Raj Bhavan resulted in a woman passenger losing her hand. The accident occurred when the two auto-rickshaws were crossing each other, leading to the severe injury. The injured woman, identified as Anamika Dutta from the Nandan Nagar area, is currently receiving treatment at GB Hospital.

Upon receiving the news, officers from the NCC police station promptly arrived at the scene. A police officer provided details of the incident, stating that one auto-rickshaw was coming from GB Hospital while the other was heading towards it. The collision occurred near the traffic point behind the old Raj Bhavan, causing Ms. Dutta’s hand to be severed and fall to the road.

The police are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the collision.
