Agartala January 22: People across the state celebrate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the establishment of Ram Lala’s life. A special Yajna was also organized at the Meher Kali house on Monday to mark the inauguration of the Ram temple. Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik was present at the Yajna organized at Meher Kali Bari Temple.

Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik performed yagna there after reciting mantras according to the custom. Later in an interview she said that the inauguration of the Ram temple is a matter of great joy, this joy cannot be explained in words, this is a matter of feeling. 500 years of waiting is over. Meanwhile, a procession was organized around the Ram Temple in Yogendranagar area adjacent to Vidyasagar bridge this morning. State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee was present.

She said that today’s special day is a day of great encouragement and enthusiasm for Sanatan Dharma. After a long wait, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the gift of Ram Temple to the people of the country. And today the day is being celebrated through various programmes, said the state BJP president. Today everyone has vowed to worship Rama. It is to be noted that on this day Yajna is organized not only in Agartala city but also in different places of the state on the occasion of the inauguration of Ram temple. Devout people enthusiastically participate in this Yajna.
